Considering an IT Career in P&G?
P&G is known to be one of the best companies who trains leaders being second only to GE (via Entrepreneur.com). I have only been employed since Jan. 13 and can already attest to the amount of effort the company gives to take care and train its employees.
P&G Asia Pte. Ltd. is actually looking to hire new IDS Systems Analysts.
IDS stands for Information & Decision Solutions. It is better known as “IT” outside of P&G. IDS leads business transformation through innovative solutions. IDS mission is to drive better business decisions and build relevant connections with consumers, customers, and employees by leveraging information and technology.
However, not just anyone can get in. These are some of the hiring criteria which have to be met.
Candidates should be proven leaders, and who have a track record of demonstrating the technical and business capability, passion and potential for long term career success in IDS:
- With the right development experiences
- Students (degree from IDS-relevant major/program and IDS-relevant work experience)
- Professionals (IDS-relevant work experience)
- IDS-relevant certifications / recognitions – not required but an indicator of top talent
- With demonstrated mastery in at least one IDS competency: Project Management
- That are broad thinkers (aspire to an IDS career, not just an assignment; think multi-culturally, push the boundaries)
- Are open to being geographically mobile
