The Pending Job Offer
I have a huge decision to make tomorrow and it will definitely be life changing. I don’t know whether I should accept an offer to work for a great company doing something I’m not super interested in. Everyone keeps saying that the training I will get will be bar-none here in the Philippines but so what if you get trained well for a job you’re not passionate about right?
I’ve always had the notion that I should do something to benefit my career and I have no idea how I think working in an IT based finance job will affect my personal goal of being in the new media/internet marketing field.
Aside from this, I’d have to give up my dream of going on an internship abroad through AIESEC. At least I was told there will be quite a number of travel opportunities in this job.
Right now I’m leaning towards joining the rat race. Waiting for April for the internship is too long and I’m not even sure of landing one due to the economic crisis.
