Basically the device on top of the parking space checks if the spot is vacant, if it is, then the paired device lights green. I hope more parking lots here install this.
What’s better is that these really give an accurate count of the available parking slots per level. Maybe customers can even get exact directions via digital maps on free parking slots when entering the facility.
There’s also the possibility of analyzing traffic patterns now using BI :)
