Gadgetista - So much for customer service
First of all, Gadgetista is a “Laptop Repair Specialist” You can view one of their ads here. This is my story with their service:
Short version: Their customer service sucks.
Complete version:
6/14 - Left my laptop to get it fixed. The problem was obvious. There was no backlight from the LCD (they told me I’ll be texted the next Monday pm for status)
6/16 - Didn’t receive any information about the status
6/17 - I called up. They told me “Sir nasa technical pa po, text ko po yung status mamayang hapon.” I didn’t get any response that day
6/20 - I called up. Guess what? They told me “Sir nasa technical pa po, text ko po yung status mamayang hapon.” Still no response.
6/21 - I called up. Guess what? They told me “Sir nasa technical pa po, text ko po yung status mamayang hapon.” This time there was a reply. “sir m0nday n p0 ang update ng unit ny0 nasa technical p p0„gadgetista”
6/22 - I didn’t bother to call. No message from them.. Now I’m pissed.
6/24 - I called up in the morning. “Sir nasa technical pa po, baka 1 month pa po dun.” I demanded that I be informed in the afternoon. She said she’ll text me. 5PM and still no response. I called again. Seems like the manager picked up the phone. Guess what she said? “You can pick up your unit tomorrow. You will have to pay Php5,500”
Wow. I wasn’t informed of what was going to be repaired and now it’s already fixed in less than a day. I asked what was done and she said they just had to fix a wiring connection. Not even an LCD part to be replaced.
I hope this be the first and last negative feedback for Gadgetista. You guys need some serious improvements to your customer service.
