How to clean your retainers
I’ve been wearing my retainers for quite some time now. If you also wear one, I’m sure that you’ll notice a buildup of white substance on the plastic part.
The white stuff is actually calcified saliva and you can’t just remove it from normal brushing.
How to remove the white stuff from your retainers:
- Get some vinegar (white, apple cider, etc)
- Soak your retainers in vinegar for around 10 minutes
- Brush the white stuff away!
* I’m actually leaving mine the whole night. Hope it doesn’t melt the whole thing lol.
(update: All the white stuff just melted away and my retainers looked brand new again)
