Where has my TIN number gone?
Today I started fixing my requirements for my OJT. As part of those requirements, I was looking for my TIN number which I remember having registered a long time ago. So I tried looking for it in the BIR website under their eTIN service. Lucky for me, it wasn’t working. So I tried other sources like my best friend Google and found a Yahoo Answers post asking how to retrieve his TIN number.
I ended up getting the contact center number for BIR which is: 981-8888
After being answered by the system and pushing a few navigation buttons, I was able to talk to a customer service representative. So I gave my name, I was put on hold then here comes the result…
“Sir I’m sorry but your name does not appear in our database.”
Guess I’ll have to file for another number this time. Good thing I already have my SSS. Just need to apply for my ID :-)
