No movie can be as refined as this. I cannot begin to imagine how much time they most probably spent on this. Everything is incredible. And that was meant to be a gross understatement.
Probably the most touching Pixar film yet. And it ranks among the best emotional moments in film I’ve ever had. It was genuine and lovely, not artificial and contrived. The first few minutes of the film with Carl’s wife: probably the most emotional I’ve been in a theater.
The themes were strong. Everyone in that theater learned something from that film, be it a sense of adventure, the profound nature of losing and gaining, finding yourself through what you have not yet done, or anything in between.
The characters are adorable. Carl, most especially. You’ll end up caring for them so much that you won’t help but just feel an emotional attatchement to them by the end of the film. I bet if you watch it in the theaters, you won’t stand until after the credits end, because you’ll want to see the pictures that come with them, which show what happened after the events of the movie.
It was just so amazing that it would be complete evil not to force all of you who still haven’t watched it to do so.
It was beautiful in the best possible meaning of that word. I cannot think of anything better to say than that. It was beautiful.

I want to watch this.
